The social networking site has updated their app for Android and from different things that we get to hear, it seems to have done the job.
The update does justice...
Apparently, the previous version of the Facebook app was being a problem with many users because of the app freezing and forcing users to shut it down. We tried the app and from what we can see, the latest version is working pretty smoothly and doesn't look like having a problem with freezing.
The app is still free in the Android market and is worth downloading. Of course it might work a little (or maybe a lot more) different than what we are experiencing. If you've used the app and have tried both the previous and the current version, let us know whether you feel there's any improvement in the experience.
